Throughout the school year, parent(s)/guardian(s) will be able to become directly involved in his/her child’s educational progress by using a Parent Internet Access Module (PIAM) over the Internet. PIAM provides a secure way for parent(s)/guardian(s) to monitor his/her child’s progress by accessing a special school website. Once registered, parent(s)/guardian(s) can view assignments, grades, attendance, discipline, and scheduling information and also communicate with teachers and staff members. Access by parent(s)/guardian(s) of students over 18 years will require the student’s written consent.
