The Animal Science department offers a wide variety of courses within its curriculum.
The Program specializes in career opportunities available to graduates in the area of domestic animal care. These include horses, fish, reptiles, rodents, and birds as well as dog and cat pets.
During the second half of freshman year, students take courses that provide an introduction to companion animals, equine science, exotic birds, fish and aquaria, livestock, reptiles and amphibians, research animals.
