- Today is an early release day for students and we will follow periods 1, 3, 5 7.
- Due to midterm exams this week the MCAS prep course scheduled to begin this Thursday will begin next Thursday, January 31st from 2:30 – 4:15 p.m.
- All students applying for their FFA Greenhand Degree or their Chapter Degree need to turn them in by February 1. Any Freshmen applying for Junior officer positions must have earned their Greenhand and any upper classmen applying for Chapter Office must have earned their Chapter Degree. Please plan accordingly. Applications are to be delivered to Ms. McMillan or Mrs. Verrington or their mailboxes.
- Attention all sophomores and juniors. There will be a meeting to decide the theme of this year’s semi formal on Tuesday, Jan. 29th in Ms. Grima’s room at 2:30. Anyone interested should attend.
- There is still time for all Aggie students, staff, and families to join the Essex Aggie Polar Plunge team. Our Web page is up and ready to accept new team members! - Freshmen, the deadline to sign up for the Class of 2016 movie night is this Friday. This event will be canceled unless more than 15 students sign up. Signup sheets are in the main office, on Mrs. Grace’s door, and on Mrs. Schonour’s door in Smith 219.

- The Boy’s and Girl’s Track teams will compete at Lynn Tech tonight. Meet begins at 6:00
- Today is an early release. Brown bag lunch will be available for Essex athletes in the gymnasium at dismissal time and then all athletes will be transported to North Shore Tech. The shuttle bus will leave from the gym at 11:45. Girl’s Basketball players and Cheerleaders will be transported back to Essex Aggie at 2:30 for practices.
- The Football and Fall Cheering banquet will be held this Sunday, January 27th, at 6:00 pm. Any player that is planning to attend should notify Mr. Lynch or Mr. Worth as soon as possible but no later than Thursday afternoon.
