Course Description

Career Exploration I (Grade 9) 8121

Students will learn skills to utilize in three areas of development: academic development, social /personal development and career development. Students also participate in structured activities created from the first half of the NEFE High School Financial Planning Program. Students will also design action plans for pursuing their goals.

Videos, computer lab activities and guest speakers will be incorporated into the curriculum.

Career Exploration II (Grade10) 8281,8285,8287

This course teaches students how to further develop and achieve personal goals in education and work. Student learning will include assessing their own skills and characteristics and investigating work and career opportunities. Students will practice applying problem solving and decision-making skills in personal, social and real world situations. They will continue and complete the second half of the NEFE High School Financial Planning program.
