Veterinary Technology & Research Animal Management
This program offering in the animal science department focuses on providing students with the skills necessary for becoming familiar with the role of a veterinary technician in animal hospitals and other animal health facilities. Veterinary Technology majors will take courses designed for the student to work in a Veterinary office and assist the Vet with animal restraint, care, laboratory testing and other necessary skills. Students will also be instructed in the program for “Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician” in anticipation of National individual certification.
