Note: Menu is subject to change. In addition to the above entrees, the cafeteria menu always includes a variety of sandwiches and chips; a daily soup; Caesar and garden salads; fruit cups; dessert cups; choice of milk; and fresh fruit daily (apples and bananas).

School Policy for Food and Beverages Served and Sold During the School Day

Essex Aggie offers foods and beverages, over the course of a school week, which are nutrient-dense, including whole grain products and fiber-rich fruits and vegetables to provide students a variety of choices to maintain a balanced diet. We also provide a variety of a la carte items which include: low-fat diary foods such as yogurt and low-fat ice creams; fruits and fruit snacks; low-fat and non-trans-fat chicken fingers, french fries, and mozzarella sticks; and a variety of low-fat/low calorie cookies and crackers. All food and drinks served by the cafetareia conform to nutritional guidelines for school breakfast and lunch as set by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
