HOMEWORK CLUB

Homework Club is not so much a club as it is a formal setting for students to receive assistance with homework, projects, and other types of assignments after school. Homework Club is staffed by two full-time teachers, one academic teacher and one special education teacher, who assist students with their homework and help to provide a quiet and productive atmosphere in which students can complete their various assignments. Beginning the first full week in September, Homework Club provides the perfect opportunity for students to maximize their time and effort to complete homework, make-up work, long and short-term projects, and other assignments from school. Traditionally, Homework Club is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 - 4:45. Students are released at 4:45 to board late busses, which leave Essex Aggie at 5:00 p.m. Parents may also pick up their students from Homework Club which is located on the top floor of Smith Hall – the administration building.

Students who wish to stay on campus to complete homework, study, conduct research, or work on projects are also encouraged to take advantage of our extended hours in the Library/Media Center, located in the McNamara-O'Shea Science Building, open to students from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
